Using the Askar 0.7x Reducer (sold separately), you can reduce the stock 1057mm f/7 system down to a speedy 740mm f/4.9. This is over a full stop difference, meaning you can gather the same amount of light at f/4.9 in less than half the time than you can at f/7.

Everything You Need for Imaging Out of the Box

No matter what size image train you're working with, the Askar 151PHQ comes with everything you need to get started out of the box. This includes interchangeable M68, M54, and M48 photographic adapters, a finder base for adding a guide scope or other accessories, and a telescoping dew shield. If you don't happen to have a filter drawer or filter wheel, the M48 adapter features a built-in filter drawer for adding your favorite 2" filters.

The 151PHQ also comes standard with a large 3.4" rack & pinion focuser, a 360º rotator, and a multifunctional carry handle with a central slot for attaching accessories with an M6 thread size. This slot may also accommodate 1/4"-20 accessories, which we will confirm at a later date. It also comes with a sturdy 300mm Losmandy D-style dovetail plate and tube rings. All of this comes housed in a sturdy aluminum case for safe transport.
